Passive House Database

This database is a common project of the Passive House Institute, the Passivhaus Dienstleistung GmbH, the IG Passivhaus Deutschland and the iPHA (International Passive House Association) and Affiliates. You can find a worldwide overview of realized Passive Houses here. If you have built a Passive House yourself or if you know a Passive House not yet registered in the database, please enter it or send us the information

Project Registration:

In this database we register, free of charge, Passive House Buildings that have already been completed or are under construction. The documentation submitted for registration should be as complete as possible: all data must be as listed in the project data sheet, calculations are to be carried out with the Passive House Planning Package (PHPP) and at least one photo of the project must be supplied. Building owners as well as all those named must be informed about and agree to the publication of the data before its posted online.

Project registration is done online either by the architect, the building owner or any other person involved in the project. If you have built a Passive House yourself or if you know of a Passive House building not yet registered in the database, please send the necessary information to passivhausprojekte@passivhaus-info.de! Thank you very much.

Certified Passive Houses:

To support planers and building owners in realising their projects, the Passive House Institute (PHI) has defined quality criteria for the Passive House Standard. Projects that are marked as Certified Passive Houses fulfill these quality criteria. Certification is carried out by the Passive House Institute or via a Passive House Institute accredited Building Certifier.
